Briefing Paper Requirements:

1. Send topics for consideration to either Debra Townsley or Michael Townsley(mtown@dca.net)

2. Main interest of the Blog is to discuss challenges facing higher education in the following areas: Academics, Enrollment Management & Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Student Services, Auxiliary Services, Athletics, Technology, Administration & Management, Strategic Planning, Unexpected Events & Emergencies & Risk Management.

3. Include a one paragraph abstract

4. The Specifications for a Briefing Paper:

    • Microsoft Word
    • Font and Size: Times Roman 12
    • Line Spacing: 1 ½
    • Paragraph Spacing: 8 after
    • Numbering of list: 1, 2, 3 with lower case alphabet and roman numerals for subordinate items on the list.
    • Do not add section breaks
    • Charts, Tables and Pictures: provide a description and any citations
    • Citations – Use a consistent format
    • Use Endnotes for references; use number format
    • Use Footnotes for special explanations; use alphabetic format
    • Include name and email address and a brief bio.
