3. GuideStar nonprofit reports and Forms 990 for donors, grantmakers, and businesses. This site provides access to financial information drawn from tax reports such as the I 990 which non-profit colleges and universities file annually.
4. Home – College Board Research. The College Board site makes available that they collect related to College Board tests and other student data that they collect.
5. Digest of Education Statistics Home. The Digest of Education Statistics has summary data on enrollment, finance, academic performance, and other specialized reports that they produce.
6. NACUBO. This is the National Association of College and University Business Officials site that has reports and data related to the their financial mission. Annually, they release their Net Price – Tuition report.
7. https://nebhe.org. This is the site for the New England Board of Higher Education that offers information on the state of higher education in the New England Region.
8. Home – WICHE. This is the site for the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education. They produce reports that are pertinent to the western region and nationally.
9. College and University Professional Association for Human Resources | CUPA-HR (cupahr.org). This site has information on human resources and compensation for higher education.
11. CPI Home: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov). This site provides current and historic CPI data.
12. National Student Clearinghouse. The National Student Clearinghouse has information on past, current and expected enrollment.
13. Financial Responsibility Composite Scores | Federal Student Aid. This site provides the regulations on computing the Financial Responsibility Composite Score that is used to determine continuing eligibility for institutions of higher education to receive financial aid from the Department of Education.
14. Carnegie Classifications | Home Page (acenet.edu). The Carnegie Classifications are used to assign institutions to a specific classification that affects how institutions are compared.
15. Note: Most states have a department of higher education and produce reports for and about the colleges and universities registered in the state. These state departments are good data sources.
